Here the secret is also the kind of tomatoes, it's called "piennolo", typical of zones near Naples.

I can only wish… living in a country, as I do, where we cannot properly ripen tomatoes outdoors. Rural Ireland is a wonderful place to live for many reasons, but this is not one of them.
